Welcome to Blind Date with a Book

Blind Date with a Book started as a fun way to feed my book collection habit! I also love surprising people with beautifully wrapped gifts.

I had heard of the concept of Blind Date with a Book but many of them were so expensive and honestly, a little sloppy! I decided I would give it a try, and it has become a passion project of mine. I lost count of the number of people who have reached out to tell me how much this brightens their day.

I curate all items carefully and believe in reducing, reusing, recycling. The books are thrifted, but are always in new or next to new condition. I take pride in the condition of the books I choose to include. I spend a lot of time making sure the books I source are gift-worthy. Each book comes with a few small add-ons (bookplate, bookmark, stickers, etc. Items vary.) Just the right touch if you’re giving a gift!

I have provided blind date books for book clubs, to help those recovering from illness and surgery, as birthday surprises, add ons for other gift baskets, for girls' trips, Mother's Day, and for book lovers looking to try something new. Other ideas: Holiday gifts, White Elephant gifts, teacher gifts, "just because" for a BFF, surprise vacation read (buy one and wait to open it until you get to the airport!), _ (insert your own idea here!).
